Maupay’s hand ball from Maguire’s header forced United’s players to ask Chris Kavanagh to use VAR, and a penalty was awarded to the Red Devils, which Bruno Fernandes converted in the 100th minute of the game (90+10, game originally had five minutes of scheduled extra time). Maupay had done a Mbappe crying celebration when he scored a panenka penalty in the first half, but left the field in tears after conceding this one
