Kai Havertz handball for Tammy Abraham equalising goal vs West Brom 2020? VAR says no

This controversial Havertz handball for the Abraham goal vs Albion saw the ball seemingly strike Havrtz’s arm, but VAR reviewed it to be a clean goal. Important decision in the scheme of things because Abraham’s stoppage time goal was an equaliser for Chelsea, who drew 3-3. Some fans said it wasn’t hand ball, while others said handball had been given for less in other instances, and this should’ve been one.

  1. If Havertz was an opposing defender, would that have been given as handball? I think yes, which is why this should be one too.

Handball rule an absolute mess now though.
