This Raul Jimenez injury vs Arsenal saw the Wolves forward have to be stretchered off with a fractured skull after a nasty collision of heads with Gunners defender David Luiz in their league game earlier today. The Jimenez vs Luiz head clash incident took place in the 5th minute after a Willian corner.
Nasty, nasty accident- the sound the head clash made was pretty terrible to hear in real time.

Edit– Jimenez was taken to hospital and is reported to be conscious after this head injury.
Edit 2– Jimenez underwent an operation for a fractured skull, and is recovering.

Horrifying injury. Hopefully Jimenez and Luiz are okay, especially Jimenez because he appeared worse off after the clash.
Telling that an alternate angle wasn’t shown during the game. That almost always is an indicator that the injury is a serious one.
Pretty mental that Luiz actually played till half time after this head injury before Holding replaced him.
Yikes, a skull fracture is never nice. Hopefully he makes a full recovery and doesn’t have to retire like Ryan Mason did. Tough to say though, given how integral heading is to the modern forward’s game.
