This Sadio Mane challenge on Fred (VIDEO BELOW) was a controversial one from Liverpool’s Cup clash against Manchester United on 24 January, 2021. Some felt that the Mane vs Fred incident warranted the former to have received more than a yellow for his studs up tackle given how similar challenges this season have been refereed; others thought it didn’t even deserve a yellow.
