Everton win at Anfield in the league for the first time since 1999 as Liverpool suffer four consecutive home league defeats for the first time since 1923/24. Late drama in the form of a controversial Sigurdsson penalty following a TAA foul on Calvert Lewin.
This TAA foul on DCL was a controversial incident, with referee Chris Kavanagh immediately pointing to the spot in the Merseyside derby earlier today. He was asked to go to the monitor by VAR, but took a very, very quick look before choosing not to change his decision. The resultant Sigurdsson penalty v Liverpool put Everton 2-0 up & gave them a historic win at Anfield
