The Ake goal against Fulham put City 2-1 up on the stroke of half time, but Fulham’s players felt that Manuel Akanji was offside, intefering with play and obstructing Fulham keeper Bernd Leno. VAR chose to have a look, but ruled in Man City’s favour and the goal was allowed to stand.
