These six goals have been selected as contenders for the FA Cup’s goal of the round by the FA for the third round of fixtures that took place over the weekend. The goal of the round contenders are Nicky Adams, Robin van Persie, Andrea Orlandi, Giorgios Karagounis, Craig Gardner and Seamus Coleman. Surprisingly, there is no place for Kieran Gibbs’ cracking volley against Swansea.
