BBC Team of the Week Round 4 25-26 Premier League season

Man City dominate the BBC’s PL TOTW for GW4, with three representatives in the form of debutant goalkeeper Donnarumma and Phil Foden and Erling Haaland. Arsenal and Spurs also have two reps each (Timber and Zubimendi for AFC & Romero and Sarr for THFC), with Sunderland, Villa, Brentford and Chelsea having one each.

Referee announced for Athletic Bilbao vs Arsenal- Same ref who was in charge of MUFC defeats to Copenhagen & Astana

The referee for the Athletic Club vs Arsenal UCL Matchday 1 clash on September 16, 2025 has been announced as Donatas Rumsas. The 37-year-old Lithuanian is the same ref who was in charge of Manchester United’s European defeats to FC Copenhagen (4-3 loss in the 23/24 Champions League) and FC Astana (2-1 loss in the 19/20 Europa League).

In that 4-3 Man Utd defeat to FCK, Rumsas also sent off Marcus Rashford and awarded penalties to both clubs, which were converted by Diogo Goncalves and Bruno Fernandes respectively.

Interestingly, this is the first time Rumsas will also referee a game involving a La Liga club in the Champions League.

Pundit Predictions for Man City v MUFC 2025- Merson, Sutton, Crouch

Week 4’s biggest game sees Manchester City square off against Man United in the first Manchester derby of the season. City are seemingly in a state of transition, having lost two of their first three games and United, despite their own problems, will fancy a crack at their bitter rivals in this GW4 clash.

Here are the pundit predictions for this Manchester derby, which will have Anthony Taylor as referee.

Chris Sutton: Sutton says this is a big set of fixtures for City, who will also kick off their CL campaign against Italian champions Napoli later in the week and will then face Arsenal in GW5.

Says City need to possibly play Gianluigi Donnarumma because James Trafford hasn’t looked assured in goal, and reckons Bryan Mbuemo could prove a real handful for City’s defenders on the counter.
