New Egypt home jersey 2009-11- African Cup of Nations

The new Egypt football home shirt for the 2009-10 and 2010-2011 seasons has been released by Puma. The Egyptian national soccer team will wear this jersey in Angola (2010) when they defend their African Cup of Nations title.

The template used is similar to the other creations by Puma for the African Cup of Nations. The shirt is primarily red in colour, and we can see a stencil of the Pharaoh on the right hand top corner of the shirt ( The Egyptian national football team are nicknamed the Pharoahs).

The six stars above the Egypt logo represent the number of times the country has won the African Cup of Nations.

Everton Limited Edition Purple Kit- Liverpool Unites

Everton have launched a new purple kit to raise £100,000 for the Liverpool Unites children’s charity. The first images of the purple shirt were released on October 9, and it will be officially launched at a public dinner at Goodison Park on October 29. You can pre-order the new limited edition jersey from the Everton club shop, and deliveries will begin on October 30.

The design, which sees the Everton crest on a purple shirt for the first time in the club’s 131 year history, is proving to be a massive hit with the fans, and is the club’s fastest ever selling shirt. Every shirt will be boxed, numbered and the buyer will also be presented with a certificate of authority.

New Ivory Coast shirts 2009-10- African Cup of Nations

The new Ivory Coast ( Côte d’Ivoire) home and away football shirts for the 2009-10 and 2010-11 season have been released by kit maker Puma. They will be worn by Ivory Coast during the 2010 African Cup of Nations tournament.

The home shirt is primarily orange in colour. The ends of the sleeves are green in colour, and so is the inside of the collar. On the right hand side of the shirt, you can see the photo of an elephant ( Ivory Coast are nicknamed the Elephants)

The away jersey has green and white as its primary colours, but also has some horizontal orange lines.

These will be the shirts sported by the likes of Didier Drogba, Kolo Toure, Abdul Kader Keita, Didier Zokora, Emmanuel Eboue, Yaya Toure, Salomon Kalou and others when they represent the national team.
