This Vincent Kompany tackle on Blind (GIF BELOW) was a contentious incident in Man City’s derby clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford on 12 April, 2015. The challenge on the Dutch midfielder by Belgian international Kompany was a reckless one, but referee Mark Clattenburg, after holding a lengthy discussion with his assistant, only decided to give him a yellow. Beautiful left footed free kick from outside the box by Puncheon, put Palace 2-0 up in the game. Yaya Toure later pulled one back for City with a fierce effort, but too little, too late for the visitors, who lost to Alan Pardew’s side.
