New FC Koln 2009-10 Home Shirt Trikot

German Bundesliga side FC Koln ( Cologne) have unveiled their new home shirt for the 2009-10 home season. Over 1400 fans were present for the live unveiling.

The red and white strip is manufactured by Reebok. It uses the PlayDry technology for optimum moisture management.

Sponsors REWE have their logo in the centre of the jersey, while you see the FC Koln logo on the left. This is the shirt that Lukas Podolski will wear when he returns to Koln in July 2009.

Wolfsburg win their first ever Bundesliga- a great present for trainer Felix Magaath, who will be coaching Schalke next season. Wolfsburg win the title with 69 points, two ahead of defending champions Bayern Munich. Disappointment for Werder Bremen, who lost the UEFA Cup final a few days ago to Shakhtar Donetsk.

Zvjezdan Misimovic gives Wolfsburg an early lead. Prodl’s attempted clearance goes all wrong and Misimovic blasts it past Wiese. In a crunch game like this one, it certainly doesn’t hurt to score first.

Bayern beat VfB Stuttgart but it was not enough to win the Bundesliga as leaders Wolfsburg clinched their first championship with a 5-1 thrashing of Werder Bremen. However Bayern do get the automatic Champions League spot.

Jens Lehmann should have got a hand to this one. Franck Ribery runs into the area, and aims to get the ball across to the Bayern strikers. Khalid Boulahrouz tries to intercept, and the ball goes into the Stuttgart goal.
