Manchester United 2-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers
Park Ji Sung’s brace allowed Manchester United to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 at Old Trafford on November 6, 2010.
The match will be better remembered for Owen Hargreaves’ Man United comeback. However the midfielder, playing his first Man United game in 777 days, lasted just minutes before another injury forced Sir Alex Ferguson to substitute him.
Park continues his record of scoring in important games for United.
Reports in the press say that Arsenal could get PSV midfielder Ibrahim Affelay for free next summer. Affelay is out of contract with PSV at the end of the 10/11 season and has currently not penned an extension with PSV. As per football rules, clubs could engage him in pre-contract talks in the January window.
