Tottenham can finish above Arsenal in the Premiership for the first time in 22 years if they beat the Gunners on Sunday in what is likely to be the last North London derby at White Hart Lane, owing to the Lilywhites’ future plans of moving to a new 61,000 seater stadium
The game, one of four on a Super Sunday that also sees Man Utd, Chelsea and Manchester City in action is a big chance for Mauricio Pochettino’s side to lay down a marker. They were the closest rivals to Leicester for most of last season before falling away and to add insult to injury, were pipped to second by the Gunners. This year, Spurs appear to have learnt from last year’s mistakes and they will be hopeful that Everton, with their great home form this year, can do them a favour by toppling Chelsea at Goodison Park.
