This Hatem Ben Arfa goal vs Lyon (GIF VIDEO BELOW) again underlined HBA’s talents as he scored a fantastic goal to put Rennes ahead against OL in their league game away from home on December 5, 2018. HBA’s goal against Lyon came in the 41st minute- he literally created something out of nothing, and managed to get enough power into his shot despite moving away from goal. The Lyon goalkeeper stayed rooted to the spot- not much he could do!
This Florin Andone goal v Palace was a nice solo effort from Brighton’s Romanian striker in their game against the Eagles on 4 December, 2018. Andone’s goal against Palace came in the 45th minute and put Brighton 3-0 ahead. Some truly poor defending from James Tomkins though, and the likes of Sakho and Hennessey will cop some part of the blame as well- Andone should never have been allowed to score from that position. Brighton were playing with ten men after Shane Duffy had been red carded for a headbutt on Patrick van Aanholt.
