Fahad Khalfan missed goal- Asian Games Qatar

This has to be the miss of 2010, if not the miss of the century.

Qatar striker Fahad Khalfan has the easiest tasks to complete, but somehow, inexplicably, hits the post instead of slotting into an empty goal from point blank range. Qatar were playing Uzbekistan in the 2010 Asian Games. Even worse for Khalfan, Qatar would have definitely won the game had he scored ( his chance was in the dying seconds of the game)

New Zealand vs Bahrain highlights World Cup playoff November 14

Final score :- New Zealand 1-0 Bahrain ( Rory Fallon 45′ )

Result:- New Zealand win the two legged playoff 1-0 on aggregate, and qualify for their first World Cup since 1982. For Bahrain, it is another case of heartbreak- they lost to Trinidad and Tobago in the playoffs for the 2006 World Cup. A record attendance at the Westpac Stadium- the highest ever for a soccer match in New Zealand.
