Premiership 22-23 September

Here are the Premiership results from the games played on 22-23 September.

Arsenal 5-0 Derby County ( Adebayor*3, Fabregas, Diaby)

No less than what was expected, and Arsenal stay at the top of the table.

Fulham 3-3 Manchester City ( Davies, Bouazza, Murphy/ M.Petrov*2, Mpenza)

While Arsenal strolled to a win over Derby, their fellow Londoners had an action packed game against Manchester City which yielded six goals. City twice came back from one goal down to take the lead, but substitute Danny Murphy ensured that Fulham walked out of the game with a point.

Liverpool 0-0 Birmingham

Birmingham have often proved to be a headache for Liverpool in league games in the past, and it was no different this time around. Rafa chose to leave Torres on the bench.

Middlesbrough 2-2 Sunderland ( Arca, Downing/ Leadbitter, Miller)

Another high scoring Saturday draw. Sunderland scored a goal just after going into the game and just before the end of 90 minutes to emerge from the Riverside with a point.

Reading 2-1 Wigan ( Kitson, Harper/ Bent)

Much needed result for Reading, but tough luck for Wigan. They were clearly the better side in the second half and emerging without nothing from the game wasn’t something they would have had envisaged.

And two quick Q’s to test your brain.

Name the other three.

Ans.) 1.) The New England Patriots– who won three Super Bowl titles between 2002 and 2005.

2.) The New York Giants– founded way back in 1925
and
3.) The New Orleans Saints, in the southern division of the NFC.

There are three American football teams from the State of Florida. The Jacksonville Jaguars and the Miami Dolphins are two. Give me the third.
