I saw the banner “THE NOISY NEIGHBOURS ARE GETTING LOUDER ALEX” and, though during the second half it appeared Roberto is, in fact, the louder, I guessed that the Manchester City fans were wrong on the undernoted enumerated two counts:

    1. Alex is staying with United and not moving to the noisy neighbours.

    2. The banner was not punctuated properly and should have included the vocative comma.
“THE NOISY NEIGHBOURS ARE GETTING LOUDER, ALEX.”

Hi there im wondering why this website never shows any of benfica highlights even champions league let alone the primeira league we are a quality team in europe

  17. ricky January 9, 2014 3:23 pm

why do managers harp on about players being tired and resting players..even robbie savage said it’s rubbish and you can play easily 3 times a week. personally i think it’s pathetic to say the least let them earn their absolutely disgusting wages, sorry the neber could if they wanted to my mistake.
footballers train a couple of hours a day get a day off get bonuses like a kings ransom transfer cuts freebies testamonial money tax free and still don’t want to pay a fair share of tax .they make me sick the likes of rooney who is pathetic now only ever played well for 1 season, let’s face it the guy cant even trap a ball doeeeeeees’nt know you should pass to the same shirt as you are wearing
can’ t dribble icould go on he makes me puke though 200,000 a week its criminal.all the others are the same i am not taking a 10 percent pay cut i only have 50 million in the bank so far fricken idiots.
in years gone by they played in mud kicked leather heavey footballs and only had 2 subs and liverpool still kept winning playing the same side. give em a rest is freckin pethic
