New Mexico jersey shirt- 2010 World Cup

Here is a look at the new Mexico shirt for the 2010 World Cup to be held in South Africa. This Mexico soccer jersey is made by German company Adidas, and will be worn by El Tri in the 2010 World Cup. Mexico finished second in the Hexagonal behind the United States.

The jersey was unveiled at a glittering presentation at the Museum of Anthropology and History. FIFA president Sepp Blatter was present, and so were Justino Compean ( head of the Mexican Football Federation) and Javier Aguirre ( Current Mexican coach)

The new Mexico strip is primarily green in colour, with red and white ( the three colours of the Mexican flag) also featuring in small parts. The Mexican football federation emblem ( with the eagle) are present on the left. White shorts complete the new Mexico kit.

New Denmark Shirt- World Cup 2010 Jersey

The new Denmark football shirt, to be worn by the Danish football team at this summer’s 2010 World Cup in South Africa, has been unveiled by Adidas. The Denmark kit has red and white as its main colours, and was first worn by the national team on November 14, 2009 in a friendly against South Korea. Denmark qualified for the 2010 World Cup automatically as Group 1 winners.

Costa Rica 0-1 Uruguay- Lugano the hero

Uruguayan skipper Diego Lugano scored the only goal of the game midway through the first half to give La Celeste a 1-0 win in the first leg of their playoff tie against Costa Rica in San Jose. Costa Rica ended up with ten men after Randall Azofeifa received his marching orders in the 52nd minute of the game.

Costa Rica, who made it to both the 2002 and 2006 World Cups, now have an uphill task in front of them ahead of the return leg in Montevideo.
