Gudjohnsen : I want to stay at Spurs

By Soccer Blog | Apr 21, 2010

Icelandic international Eidur Gudjohnsen is keen to extend his stay at Tottenham Hotspur. The 31 year old forward is currently on loan at White Hart Lane from Ligue 1 club AS Monaco till the end of the season and has scored two goals in eleven outings for the Lilywhites so far.

The former Chelsea and Barcelona star said that coming to Spurs was “like a breath of fresh air” and has asked ASM to let him leave Stade Louis II in the summer.

Tottenham are also currently in pole position to qualify for next season’s Champions League, something that will also be playing on Gudjohnsen’s mind as he contemplates the next move in his career.
