Luis Suarez was the star of the evening as Barcelona beat PSG 3-1 in the first leg of their European quarterfinal clash at Parc des Princes on 15 April, 2015. Suarez’s goals vs Paris SG were a treat to watch, and he nutmegged former Chelsea defender David Luiz for one of his strikes. Neymar also scored for Barca, who also conceded a late own goal through Jeremy Mathieu
When the draw for the last eight of the CL was made, Porto vs Bayern was considered an easy draw for Pep Guardiola’s side. It is however Pep’s side who face a steep task to reach the semis, after Porto stunned them 3-1 at the Estadio do Dragao on April 15, 2015. The much maligned Ricardo Quaresma scored two goals for Porto, with Jackson Martinez adding a third in the second half. Thiago Alcantara pulled one back for an uncharacteristically sloppy Bayern side, and it is his away goal that gives them hope ahead of the second leg in Munich.
