A spectacular goal from the German midfielder, who displayed immense calm under pressure, first chipping the keeper and then making a mockery of two defenders before slotting home the winning goal. Arsenal have now reached the Round of 16 stage 14 seasons in a row (only Real Madrid have bettered that)
