This call by referee Andre Marriner for NOT giving Raheem Sterling a penalty (VIDEO GIF BELOW) was a controversial moment in City’s 2-2 draw against Spurs at home on 21 January, 2017. Walker pushed Sterling as he was advancing on goal but the latter chose not to dive and his attempt lacked power. Less than a minute later, Son scored the equaliser for Spurs at the other end. The call left Guardiola angry on the sidelines- it could’ve been 3-1 to City and a potential red card for Walker.
