Former Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote has passed away today after collapsing in training in China. Tiote, 30, had joined Chinese second division club Beijing Enterprises earlier this year, thus ending a seven year stint at St.James Park (he joined NUFC from Twente in 2010 for 3.5m pounds)
Here is one of Tiote’s most iconic league moments- he scored the goal against Arsenal that gave Newcastle a 4-4 draw after the Magpies had trailed 4-0 at one stage.
