Nine man Chelsea reach the fourth round of the FA Cup after edging Norwich on penalties
This Dimitri Payer goal vs Strasbourg (GIF VIDEO BELOW) saw some outrageous skill from the ex West Ham player, whose dummy literally injured opposition keeper Alexandre Oukidja. Payet’s goal v Strasbourg came in the 87th minute of the game, and sealed a 2-0 win for Marseille at the Velodrome. Oukidja had to be stretchered off and was replaced by Bonnefoi
Kelechi Iheanacho’s goal vs Fleetwood Town meant that the 21 year old became the first player to score a VAR given goal in England, achieving this feat on 16 January, 2018 in Leicester City’s FA Cup replay against FTFC at the King Power Stadium. More interesting though is the fact that Iheanacho is ALSO the first 4th substitute ever in English football- he was brought on in extra time for Raheem Sterling during Man City’s FA Cup semifinal against Arsenal in April 2017 (the 2016/17 season)
