Here is the official PFA Premier League Team of the Season for 2018/19, as announced today (April 25, 2019). The Premiership TOTY is effectively Liverpool, Man City and Paul Pogba, with the XI comprising of ten players from the two sides competing for the league title plus Manchester United’s star French midfielder. It’s less diverse than the 2019 EFL Championship Team of the Year that was announced yesterday. Somewhat surprisingly, there is no place for Eden Hazard in this XI, with Ederson winning his battle against Alisson.

And if City do win the title, the team that contributes more than half of this squad, won’t walk away with the trophy?
Rubbish. I can’t believe they picked ederson over Alison ?it’s all running rubbish. But the rest I can agree with
Hazard isn’t there…He has as the highest goal involvements this season with 29..13 assist and 16 goals…89 chances created…And he isn’t picked..That’s surprising
Absolute joke that Pogba is in that team and De Bruyne isn’t. Alisson should be between the sticks in the squad with Son up top, Hazard has had a great season but hard to decide between him and Mane.
