This Leeds vs Aston Villa incident (VIDEO BELOW) saw five minutes of controversial drama in the game between the Whites and AVFC on 28 April, 2019. Leeds appeared to pretend to put the ball out as Kodjia lay injured but then scored via Mateusz Klich. Villa’s players were furious and it lead to a fight which saw Anwar El Ghazi sent off. Marcelo Bielsa then ordered his players to concede an equaliser from kick off, from which Adomah scored. Real controversy and drama, and it also saw Bielsa and Terry exchange words on the sideline. With these two goals, the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

  1. after viewing the footage in fact it was Villa player that comment the foul and in the process got injured. to me it looked like the referee played the advantage for Leeds and therefore nothing wrong with them continue with the game. Since when does a opposition play asked for the ball to be kick out. Not one Villa player run to their injured player to check if he was badly injured. No ways any one could have thought it was an head injury .What the coach done was very good but for the wrong reason. It was not because his player where unsporting but rather avoid a hostile situation and by me saying that don’t you think the villa took things in their own hands and not much is been said about that.”
    Referee did not just issue cards but after conculation with his assistance and i am sure he would have got information on his ear peace to have taking the decision.
