This Tomas Soucek red card vs Fulham was a very controversial decision by referee Mike Dean from West Ham’s 0-0 draw against the Cottagers on 6 February, 2021. Soucek elbowed Mitrovic in the face, albeit accidentally, but VAR deemed it worthy of a review, and after a lengthy look at the screen, Dean sent Soucek off. Even Mitrovic, the recipient of the foul, felt that Soucek didn’t deserve a red card.
