There have been three hat tricks in a Premier League Manchester derby between Man Utd and Man City. The first one was from Andrei Kanchelskis (for Man United) in the 1994/95 season. Hat tricks 2 and 3 came in the same game (Erling Haaland and Phil Foden for Man City) in the 2022/23 season on October 2.
Man United 5-0 Man City 10 November 1994 (Kanchelskis 43′, 47′, 88′) at Old Trafford
Kanchelskis also assisted Eric Cantona’s 24th minute opener in this game.
Man City 6-3 Man Utd 2 October 2022 (Haaland 34′, 37′, 64 & Foden 8′, 44′, 72) at the Etihad Stadium.
The hat trick v United for City was also the 15th career hat trick for Haaland.
