Gold Coast United 2009-10 shirts- home and away

A-League side Gold Coast United have revealed their shirts that will be worn for their 2009-10 league campaign.

The Queensland based side are making their debut in the 2009-10 A-League season.

The home shirt is yellow in colour, with blue shorts and royal blue socks completing the outfit.

Gold Coast United have gone for an all white away strip. Sponsors Mineralogy are represented by the big M in the middle of both the shirts. The company is owned by Gold Coast United chairman Clive Palmer.

The home shirt seems to be inspired by the Brazilian team’s colours, while the away shirt seems to have drawn inspiration from Real Madrid.

New Brisbane Roar 2009-10 Kits- Home and Away

A-League side Brisbane Roar ( formerly known as Queensland Roar) have unveiled photos of their new home and away strips for the 2009-10 season.

Made by Reebok, the Roar will wear the new strip for the first time on July 12 in a pre season friendly against Celtic at the Suncorp Stadium.

The new home shirt is orange in colour, and has a horizontal maroon patch running down from the base of the neck to the shoulders. The ends of the sleeves are maroon in colour too. Accompanied by maroon shorts and orange socks.

The away jersey is predominantly white, with orange present in the patch running down from the base of the neck to the shoulders. The sleeve ends are orange in colour too. Orange shorts and white socks complete the outfit.

Sponsors The Coffee Club have their logo in the centre of the shirt, with Brisbane Airport having a presence on the sleeves.

New Perth Glory 2009-10 home shirt

A League club Perth Glory have unveiled their new 2009-10 home strip. The shirt was officially released by club owner Tony Sage, and features vertical stripes for the first time in the club’s history.

The new 2009-10 Perth Glory shirt is manufactured by Reebok. It has white stripes against the traditional purple background. Sponsors QBE Insurance have their presence in the centre of the shirt, while the club’s new logo is present on the left breast.

Perth Glory also announced the signings of Andy Todd and Branko Jelic at the kit launch. The new home shirt is accompanied by purple shorts and white socks, and will also be worn on select away games.

Defender Jamie Harnwell said, “I think it’s a great new design, it looks smart and adds to the renewed feeling that we all have at the club.”
