This Anthony Briancon red card vs Stade Rennais saw the Nimes centre back sent off for an absolutely shocking challenge on rising star Eduardo Camavinga, who has been linked with Real Madrid. Briancon’s WWE style foul on Camavinga originally saw the defender get a yellow, which was quickly changed to a red card by referee Stephanie Frappart once VAR intervened. The Briancon red card came in the 53rd minute with the scores tied at 1-1, Rennes eventually went on to win 2-1.
