Chelsea beat West Brom 3-1 at the Hawthorns to maintain their push for Champions League football. There was almost a first goal for Chelsea’s Fernando Torres, but the striker’s late effort was disallowed for offside.
This stunning Andy Carroll goal vs Man City was his first goal for Liverpool since moving to the Reds from Newcastle United for a jaw dropping £35m in the 2011 winter transfer window. The Carroll Liverpool goal v Man City was one of two that the striker scored on April 11, 2011 in the Premiership game against the Citizens ( See video below).

Liverpool produce an excellent performance to dispatch a listless City side 3-0 at Anfield. Andy Carroll scores his first two league goals in Liverpool colours. Very ordinary performance from Man City, a worrying sign for their supporters ahead of the FA Cup semifinal v Manchester United.
