This Mo Salah goal vs Everton was again a superb finish from the striker as he put the Reds 2-1 ahead in their Merseyside derby clash against the Toffees on 17 October, 2020. The Salah goal v Everton came in the 72nd minute, and was also Mo’s 100th goal for Liverpool. Yerry Mina perhaps guilty of some poor defending- attempted a flick while clearing, and it fell straight to Salah.

This Pickford vs VVD incident saw the Liverpool defender have to be replaced by Joe Gomez after a strong tackle from Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford in their Merseyside derby today. The Pickford tackle on VVD happened early in the game, with VAR having to be called in to decide whether it was a penalty or not. The offside looked close, and had VVD not been ruled offside by VAR, the nature of Pickford’s foul on Van Dijk could’ve seen a spot kick being awarded to the Reds and potentially a red card to him.
