A rather controversial incident involving former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has seen the television pundit spit at a car that had a father and his 14 year old teenage daughter in the vehicle. The father, who said that he was indulging in a “bit of banter” with Carragher, claimed that the 38 times capped England defender spat at him, and the “saliva” hit his daughter’s face. Carragher has already apologised for the incident, saying “he was goaded” along the motorway and “lost his rag”.
