Here are the newspaper ratings for Lyon vs Zenit St.Petersburg from noted French paper L’Equipe. Zenit took the lead in front of the 47,201 strong crowd at the Groupama Arena through Sardar Azmoun (41), but OL equalised in the second half through a Memphis Depay penalty.
L’Equipe thought Azmoun and Reine-Adelaide were the best players from either side, giving both a 7/10. None of the other OL outfield players- Depay, Tousart and Dembele included, got more than 5. Interestingly though, referee Michael Oliver secured a higher rating than any of the players, getting a 8/10 for his performance!
