Portuguese outfit Braga took a massive step towards the Europa League play-off round as they beat Brondby 4-2 away from home in the first leg of their tie. The result was one of two 4-2 losses on the evening for Danish sides at home, with Midtjylland also losing by the same scoreline to Steven Gerrard’s Rangers.

The game was tied 2-2 at the 90 minute mark before two injury time goals swung it Braga’s way- one from Ricardo Horta in the 92nd minute and the other an unfortunate own goal from Hermannsson in the 94th minute.
