Here is a look at the official Premier League Team of the Week after Game Week 4 for the 23/24 season, as announced by both Alan Shearer and Garth Crooks.

Not surprisingly, Erling Haaland’s 7th MCFC hat trick saw him named in both TOTW’s, as were fellow hat trick scorers Evan Ferguson and Heung-Min Son.

Both teams had seven players in common- Pickford in goal; Worrall in defence; Maddison and Rice in midfield and the three forwards (Son, Haaland, Ferguson)

Video Matt O’Riley header assist for Kyogo Furuhashi goal vs Rangers 2023 Celtic Old Firm Derby

This Kyogo goal vs Rangers (OFFICIAL VIDEO BELOW) was a very nice finish from Celtic’s Japanese star in their Old Firm derby against Rangers on September 3, 2023. The Kyogo goal against Rangers came on the stroke of half time and was the winning goal in the game. Connor Goldson, who scored an unfortunate own goal against PSV in midweek, headed the ball to Matt O’Riley, who headed it back to Furuhashi, who produced a nice finish.
