No Italian player in starting lineup for AC Milan in Serie A- Milan vs Salernitana March 2023

The Milan vs Salernitana match on 13 March, 2023 was a unique one- there was no Italian player in the starting XI for Milan in a league game for the first time in the modern three points per win era (since 1994/95)

This ACM-Salernitana game ended in a 1-1 draw, with Olivier Giroud scoring for the Rossoneri. Giroud was one of four French starters in the Milan XI- Maignan, Theo Hernandez and Kalulu were the other three.

English teams looking to avoid upsets in Europe this week

It has been a season of upsets in the Premier League – the defending champions Manchester City find themselves second-best in a title race dominated by a resurgent Arsenal who had finished 24 points behind City last season.
