Willian had a 8th minute missed chance xG (0.68)- Lacazette scored from his shot rebound. The Brazilian’s 27th minute free kick that struck the post had a XG of 0.15

Not much by way of chances for Fulham- their best was perhaps one that didn’t register on the xG scoreboard (Kamara trying to round up the keeper after a mix up between Gabriel and Bernd Leno in the 2nd minute)

This Rob Holding skill vs Fulham saw a great piece of play from the Arsenal defender, not something unlike what you might have seen from prime Ronaldinho or prime Thierry Henry. It also lead to the corner from which Gabriel scored his first goal for the Gunners. Nice reaction from Holding and Laca as well- laughing afterwards!

This Aubameyang goal vs Fulham saw the Gunners go 3-0 ahead inside an hour of their league opener against the Cottagers. Fantastic team goal from the Gunners playing out from the back- the build up as well as the fantastic finish very much like Auba’s Community Shield strike
