The Pennant goal vs Arsenal was an excellent strike from former Arsenal winger Pennant, with the Gunners defence to blame for their poor organisation. Pennant’s goal v Arsenal came after his teammate Jones had put the Potters ahead. Stoke eventually beat Arsenal 3-1 in the fixture.

As Pennant was running towards goal, Bacary Sagna and the rest of the defence backed off, the shot from Pennant took a deflection off Johan Djorou and Arsenal keeper Wojciech Szczesny could have stopped this looped effort had he tried a bit harder.

New Arsenal Jersey 11/12 Home 125th Anniversary 2011 Nike

This is the new Arsenal jersey 2011/12 ( 11/12), officially unveiled by Arsenal FC in the wee hours of May 2, 2011. The new Arsenal home jersey 11/12 has been manufactured by Nike and is a 125th anniversary jersey ( Arsenal were founded as Dial Square in 1886).

There were plenty of leaked versions of the 125th anniversary Arsenal jersey going around the internet prior to the official unveiling of the strip by Arsenal. Fans interested in buying the jersey can place their pre-orders now, with the jersey officially going on sale on 9 June 2011.

As one might have expected, it is a return to the classy strips of the 1970’s, with a simple red and white shirt, white shorts and red socks. The special point of the jersey is the club crest and the 15 laurel leaves to the left part of the crest, reflecting the 15 men who were instrumental in founding the club.
