This Kenny Dalglish Wenger confrontation took place shortly after Dirk Kuyt had slotted in a dramatic equalising penalty in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool FC on 17th April, 2011. Minutes before Kuyt’s penalty, Robin Van Persie had slotted in a penalty of his own to put Arsenal ahead, but the awarding of the Kuyt penalty dented Arsenal’s title hopes, leading to this Dalglish Wenger touchline row.

Jay Spearing gave away the penalty for Liverpool, while Emmanuel Eboue did the same for Arsenal.
