An action packed Merseyside Derby ends in a 2-2 draw, but plenty of talking points, including Pickford vs Van Dijk resulting in an injury for VVD, and a late disallowed offside goal for Jordan Henderson.
This Jordan Pickford save vs Liverpool was a marvellous piece of athleticism from the Everton goalkeeper as he showed excellent reflexes to stop a Joel Matip header from a corner. Pickford’s great save came with Everton trailing 2-1- a crucial moment in the game
This Jordan Henderson disallowed offside goal vs Everton was a very controversial moment towards the end of the Merseyside derby on October 17 2020. Henderson thought he had won it for Liverpool with his 93rd minute effort, only for VAR to disallow the goal for Sadio Mane being offside. It was however a very, very tight call, and divided opinion.
