This Felipe Anderson offside goal vs Man Utd was a controversial moment from the Hammers’ clash at Old Trafford on 13 April, 2019. In the 10th minute of the game, Anderson had the goal in the back of the net, but the linesman disallowed it for offside. Replays however showed that Diogo Dalot was playing Anderson onside, and the goal should’ve stood. Another potential example of the need for VAR? Anderson’s disallowed goal was a blow to the Hammers as they conceded soon afterwards through Pogba’s penalty.
