Here is a look at the Premier League standings after Round 6 for the 23/24 season. This was the week that had the North London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

Brighton were fifth in the table after GW5 in 2023-24, but rose to third as a result of the 2-2 draw in the NLD and their own 3-1 win over Bournemouth.

Everton claimed their first win of the season to move out of the relegation zone, while Sheffield United’s 8-0 loss to Newcastle saw them go from outside the drop zone in Week 5 (17th) to the bottom of the table in Week 6 (20th).

This Oli McBurnie red card vs Tottenham (OFFICIAL VIDEO BELOW) saw the Sheffield United player get sent off towards the end of their game against the Lilywhites over the weekend. The McBurnie dismissal vs Spurs was for collecting two yellow cards, the second of which was due to dissent towards the referee.

McBurnie was penalised for an alleged foul on Brennan Johnson, but felt it should’ve been the other way & went to protest to the referee, & was issued a second yellow card for dissent.
