  1. Has the Premier League forgotten to defend?

The rate at which these high scoring games are produced, I won’t be surprised if people want to go back to the quiet one or two goal margin fixtures.

  2. my fellow gooners should come back down 2 earth. anybody remeber the readibg gane “best gane ever” then there was bradford. Theo will most likely leave and good luck 2 him, he wants to be the striker he knows he is, that is the ONLY clause he wants in his contract. If wenger and the yank dont do it he will leave. and arsene is a yes man, how many other clubs tyrn a profit. the yank only buys cah cows, not winners. if u want to make money, dont buy a ffotball club. the yank wont spend and arsene will be his stuborn little yes man. If we dont batter soton 2moro the questions will be raised again. The best strikers in the world do 2 things, they score and they start, theo has made how many starts as our frontman?
People need to be realistic, we are looking at 6 or 7 place finish, we dont have the l;egs for a full season, our squad is lacking, and all too often we are left wanting. Even the magic touch of stevie boy cant seem i#to get the defense in order.
Big players dont want to come to arsenal, because we sell our best players (profit b4 victory),we dont try and win, we give the impression of trying whilst all the while keepig those quarterly divendend coming thick and fat. Ive seen it too many times before, besides we will be getting dumped out of the CL soon and the FA cup, like we do every season.
We get our pride back by doing one of two things, dumping arsene in favour of a mangaer who will try other ways to breakdown resilient opposition, instead of foolishly clinging to the notion that arsene’s way will work eventually. We pass, we run, we are defendable, we are readable, we are not suprising. beating newcastle is great but beating the mancs and the blues is what champions do, or are we now just an also-ran, aiming for that precious 4th place.
Im a lift#etime fan 28 of my 32 years, and a season ticket holder for the past 9 seasons. Im fed up fo paying the highest price in the land, to watch a team pretend they want to win trophies. BTW notice how we have gone from wanting “titles” to wanting “trophies”. Another thing that arsene has done, convinced the majority populus that trophies like the capital one cup, and the fa cup are more important than being the best team in the country.
Who now are our realistic rivals, its sure as hell not the mancs, everton maybe, the enemy, west brom??
so yes a great result, but not the bset game, and some of our worst defending this season, and the real tests are yet to come. sometimes i wish i was a wes ham fan, because at least id know what to expect, our team lie to us with talk of “trophies”. And our best bet at a saviour (and i think he would have taken the job if offered, and i know alot of us paying gooners agree he would have been flipping great at it) is planning his like in the championship with QPR.
Check back here in may if im wrong, if we finish 4th and or win a trpphy i will email an £10 amazon gift voucher to the people in front of me on this post. those who posted b4 20:56 31/12/12.
