23 man England Euro 2016 Squad Announced- Drinkwater, Delph and Townsend miss out

England coach Roy Hodgson has opted to leave out Danny Drinkwater and Andros Townsend from his provisional squad, with Fabian Delph also missing out due to injury. Teenage sensation Marcus Rashford, who recently inked a fresh deal at Man Utd, has been retained in the final 23 man list and is one of three United players in the squad along with Chris Smalling and Wayne Rooney.

Title winning Leicester City have only one representative in Jamie Vardy, while the bulk of the squad comes from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, with the Reds and the Lilywhites each contributing five players.

Ukraine Euro 2016 Squad Announced- Teenager Zinchenko makes the cut

Ukraine coach Mykhaylo Fomenko has officially named his 23 member squad for Euro 2016, with teenager Oleksandr Zinchenko the surprise inclusion in the touring party. The 19 year old became the country’s youngest ever scorer when he netted in the 4-3 win over Romania over the weekend, thus breaking legendary forward Andriy Shevchenko’s two decade old record.

Reus out of Euros- Germany Euro 2016 Squad announced

German coach Joachim Low has announced his final 23 member squad for the European Championships. Marco Reus again misses out due to injury, with doctors informing Low that the Dortmund star “could only run in a straight line”. Also missing the cut from Low’s provisional 27 man squad are Karim Bellarabi, Julian Brandt and Sebastian Rudy.

Here is the breakup of players by club (note- Mats Hummels has been counted as a Dortmund player).

Bayern Munich contribute the highest number of players to the 23 man squad (5), with Schalke, Wolfsburg, Dortmund and Liverpool all contributing two each.
