  1. We’re still a poor footy nation @ FCB

Still Karanjit was good- as it always happens when international opposition come to India.

    Good lesson in possession football

  2. Bayern should have allowed Baichung to score

That Neuer mistake apart, not too many chances for India

Long way to go for Savio Medeira

  3. Thank you India and Bayern. THe first half was quite spectacular. India reacted well in the second and fully deserved not to be scored against again. All in all a great night of soccer. Was looking forward to see the game from the USA, and thanks to Ten Action India was able to do so. Love the Bundesliga and will make an effort to also see more games in the future from India.

  4. Poor show by the cricket crazy country…Indian Football squad not able to match the club level team. Imagine if barchelona palyed against Indian team it might be 10-0 magin victory…..

  5. v tried our best but unfortunately could not score remember v were playing with world best club hope fully v will do better in next time .

  6. Do not give up. its just starts. we ll do better in next coming few matchs…….. Best of luck….

  7. indians should be ashamed of themselves…their board should have never requested Bayern Munich to come and play this match…India should win from Pakistan first……Loser Team…Loser Nation….

  8. bayern just didn’t tried to score in the second half otherwise they could have thrashed them with even higher margin…. forget to play against barsa…messi alone could take all indian players up…first make indian soccer at that level and then invite the team….

  9. Fellas…. Some of you are saying Indian Team is not up to the mark, Some of you are saying BM didn’t tried to score in 2nd Half….. one Stupid fellow called us Loser Nation…. Its not us But someone else lose in world war II…
By the way… Football might not be India’s strength but we have much more ,…. open challenge… wanna try that one on one with me??…
By the way I was in the stadium… and I’ve been in the field as well… I know Inside field story as well as outside expectation….
Though 1st half was nothing but burden of Expectations, If we don’t go for score we can hold any team of the world…
More… Indian played extremely well in 2nd half.. some assistance from the coach and few good words from Bhutia worked really well 🙂
Kids are growing up, the Only problem is Midfield in technique and Jump height in Stamina…. otherwise everyone seems to be starching more then they usually do.

  10. Great football lessons from the German giants. And a great show for football fans. Yes its always sad to see our nation lose, but always a treat to see one of the best in this business. This should only motivate the team to do better and not get disheartened by losing to one of the best clubs in the world. Coz a country of more than 1 billion is definitely capable of producing better football team than this. Just requires more hard work on the fitness side and improving the overall attacking game. Not scoring a single goal during the entire 90 min always shows a weakness in attack. There is no point blaming height and genetic aspects of the players. Its about practice and passion for the game. World No. 1 Spain has a team has mostly below average height players in the side. And even the best players in the players are not tall at all. Starting from Messi – the worlds best. Xavi, Iniesta, David Silva, Juan Mata, Robinho, Frank Ribery, Wesley sneijder all around 5’7 5’8. Most importantly there should be more encouragement for this game and a better system of developing players from grass root level. Barcelonas La Masia academy is famous for producing brilliant players as well as Hollands Ajax youth academy. Always a good experience to play with the best in the world. Builds popularity and more encouragement for the game. Sometimes it seems cricket seems to overshadow other sports in this country.

  11. India first needs to promote and encourage soccer in the country if it wants to be competative..i remember india touring fiji some years back and losing to a champion local club Ba while losing the first match n drawing the second match with the Fiji national team…and despite losing their performance was just great. They have the talent they just need good exposure

  12. if it happen in south india especially in kerala the total number of people in the stadium is more than double
