  1. RVP’s the only thing keeping Arsenal up lol

As for LiverFool, chronic old issues about the attack not quite being good enough

  2. ?”What’s the best selling item in the Arsenal store? A van persie tea tray… guaranteed to carry 10 mugs!!”

  3. Dead heat between RVP and Szczesny for man-of-the-match. Fantastic finish on that second goal, but it wouldn’t have been a match-winning goal if Szczesny hadn’t pulled off those saves earlier on. Saving penalties always involves a bit of luck, but the follow-up save was top-drawer.

Oh, and if Koscielny wasn’t so important in the back-line, he might well have presented a solution to Arsenal’s problem of finding goal-scoring support for Van Persie. That was a superb (own-)goal.

  4. protégé Kenny Dalglish could only scored one goal, and even then through suicide Laurent Koscielny
Liverpool’s inability to take advantage of opportunities that should have paid handsomely for it uprooted goalkeeper Pepe Reina Robin van Persie twice.
The defeat was a setback for the ‘The Red’ because they were new last week won the League Cup, in addition to complicate efforts to get the big four to win the Champions League next season’s quota

  5. LFC not gonna qualify for the CL playing like this

Dogged defensive performances yes- attacking nothing
