  1. I suppose next season we’ll hear all the bullsh** about West Ham acieived promotion by playing good football and that they’ll be to good to get relegated.

If anyone remembers, they should have been relegated years ago for fielding 2, yes 2 inelligible players, Tevez and Masherano who helped them stay up. They should have had points deducted and fined, but if were not for the cockney ponce “Sir Trevor Brooking” who must have his fingers up somebody’s butt, they were conveniently let off and Sheffield United with Neil Warnock went down.

I feel this saga will run and run until it’s played to death with plaudits jumping out of the woodwork to praise an average Championship team.

‘this saga will run and run’ due to misinformed people like you spreading your lack of knowledge on the situation.

If you look at the facts you’ll see that the Tevez & Mascherano initially had a negative affect on West Ham. After Tevez’s debut ‘West Ham went on a nine-game winless streak (one draw and eight defeats), which included seven consecutive matches without scoring.’ At one stage Sheffield United were 10 points clear of the drop zone with their fate firmly in their own hands. West Ham were subsequently fined a record £5.5m in the process and more importantly Tevez & Mascherano WERE CLEARED TO PLAY in the remainder of the season.
West Ham were then made to pay £20 million as compensation to Sheffield United!? When in your opinion willthe ‘saga’ end? What more needs to be done?

Sheffield United were relegated in consecutive seasons because they weren’t good enough. West Ham were relegated last year because they weren’t good enough. This season both Sheffield United and West Ham are in the playoffs because they have been better than most of the teams around them – no one is to blame. Stop living in the past and trying to create issues where no more exist. In short grow-up and stop playing the blame game.

And I’m sure the FA and Trevor Brooking will be most interested in your libelous claims, or perhaps the rules don’t apply to you?

  3. Jeez aalan, that was 5 years ago. Stop living in the past and you do sound quite pathetic for bringing that up again. I agree, just because you think you can write whatever on your mind, people can sue you for slander. You don’t have any proof do you?

Seeing you got lots of bitterness in you, stop blaming the imagined ‘corrupt’ forces and accept the fact that Sheffield United played poorly which is the reason for relegation to the Championship and Division 1.
