  1. Gotta say, very average Swedish side

That being said, England will have their a**** handed to them by Spain in the quarters

  2. Walcott was an inspired sub. Scored the second and assist for the third. Woy’s doing it right it seems.

  3. Haha shut up what difference will Shrek make he’s just pure sh*t!
Just watch when England face Spain or Germany they will get brutally ****d.
England would have had a good chance if they weren’t so racist and chose M.Richards and Ferdidand instead of Glen and Terry

  4. walcott made the difference. his superb shot n decent run to trap defenders before passing the ball to welbeck was outstanding. i think Arsenal might loose him as well as RVP when EURO tournament ends. Hopefully not..oh yea i think artificial Arsenal supporters now hiding behind shit tank cause urging wenger to sell walct, rvp, kclsney, rosicky, song n many more arsnl plyrs when they were in difficult time..

  5. I am soooo offended by those who are so easily offended at footballing decisions that they perceive to be racially motivated. I have never ‘desired’ an all white England team…..I just want them to win.

  6. Bangladesh, for your kind information, Glen Johnson isn’t white.

“England would have had a good chance if they weren’t so racist and chose M.Richards and Ferdidand instead of Glen and Terry”

On pure footballing grounds, as a defender, Terry’s a more suitable option than Rio. Younger, more games played last season, not as prone to injury.

  7. Haha what a moron! How can England be racist when 1)we are the most diverse country in the world and open our doors to every race there is in the world! And 2) welbeck, cole and young are not white! I personally think the people that are racist are the ones claiming the abuse when there is nothing there!

  8. Wow, I think the only racist here is you Bangladesh. If want to look at racism rather point your misguided mind at other nations that tend to monkey chant non-white players on the pitch. And dubbing a whole nation racist because the manager chooses one player over another, not because of color, but merit. You really need to take off those racist goggles….ah too late!

  9. Your all mostly stupid and pathetic.
Sweden is an average team?? even if that was the case, i think your missing the point bone heads!, Sweden have always beaten England in a competition. But this time we beat them!
Another point, Sweden are on there way home, so there going to play even better then average because if they don’t, there going home. So it wasn’t such an easy win for England.
And Finally, Racist?? England have Theo, Johnson, Welbeck, Chamberlain, Young, Lescott and Defoe! So just because we didn’t pick Rio and Richards doesn’t mean anything you stupid fool! Bangledesh, Get a life!

  10. If Chelsee can frustrate Barca & win why can’t England win against Spain or Germany. They don’t have to play flamboyant footbal to win. If they stick to their own game plan they could always grind out a result.

  11. Andrew, by average I meant they were average last night

There’s no dearth of individual talent in their ranks, but everyone and his dog saw that as a team, they were rubbish last night

Ibra showed some tricks but didn’t really rise to the occasion, and the others made way too many mistakes. Svensson, Kallstrom, Elm, Elmander- all reasonable names, but nothing in the game

  12. @bangladesh take ur ass and have it whooped in india f*****….
one more thing about micah is that he did not want to be on the bench!!!!hopr u understand hodgson selection now…

  13. Take that Ibrahimovic! If you can’t be a good winner, then you are not prepared to win at all. That wasn’t cool at all to scream that goal on Hart’s face…
Things like that is why you’ve got kicked out of Barcelona and you’ve just got owned by England! That’s KARMA, mate!!

  14. I am Dutch with an English mum and I always cheer for England. So much so that I downloaded the match so I could watch it again. Well, The Dutch team sucked so far, so I am glad I have something to cheer for. One question. What was up with all the booing when one of the English players was on the ball? Great football supporters. NOT. Learn to show some respect for both teams, so someone saying England is racist but does not say anything about what really happened, is very ignorant.

  15. England proved they can play with some flair and come from behind. If it had not been for some dodgy defending they wouldn’t have had too, but that’s football

  16. England have a good team, capable of wining the euro 2012 but they just need to combine well. and also bring in some youngsters. !
