  1. Looks like the Chelsea players don’t want to give FSW the job on a permanent basis

Transition or no transition, results like this will get him the boot

  2. I KNOW THAT SWANSEA CITY WILL WIN CHELSEA BCOS THEIR COMBINATION AND LINE UP IS VERY GREAT MICHU IS FANTASTIC PLAYER.

  3. Very wise tactics from Swansea Manager who took advantage of Chelsea’s new keeper lack of play time with their defenders. Swansea’s frontmen are intelligent enough to take advantage of such situations.

  4. Unbelievable comments. No-one ever gives Swansea any credit, because they are a Welsh club playing in the English league. If Swansea win, people always say the opposition were poor. No! Swansea have proved time and again that they are equal to the best in the Premier League.

  5. @Anonymous, There is a second leg yes, but it’s at the Liberty, and I think Swansea can hold on to a two goal lead at home.

@Norman, if that was an English club’s performance in the away leg of a European tie, they’d be praised everywhere.

    But it was

1.) Chelsea, with all the creative talent at their disposal considered favourites ( with all due respect to the Jacks)
    2.) AT HOME
3.) And conceding in a silly manner.

If Chelsea had grabbed a victory like that at the Nou Camp, yes we’d probably be praising Chelsea, but we’d be criticising Barca a lot more.

  6. @Kyle, Thank you for your impartial assessment.

I’m a Stoke fan, but to be honest there’s no-one playing football like Swansea in the Premier League. They’re always exciting to watch. By far the best footballing side. But it’s results that count, of course.

@Anonymous, The second leg will be a draw. Either 0-0 or 1-1. Swansea to go to Wembley. Swansea to win the final 3-0.

  7. Swansea have shown themselves to be as good as anyone on their day, but they weren’t at their brilliant best in this game. If it weren’t for 2 errors by Ivanovic this game could have gone very differently, having said that Swansea’s tactics defensively were spot on until Ba came on and started bullying their back line. 2 excellent finishes and a solid performance have given them a fantastic chance of getting to the final. Ba was unlucky not to get a penalty, and the goal was not offside, he should be starting ahead of/alongside Torres, he could potentially fill the huge hole that Drogba has left in Chelsea’s frontline.

  8. If Torres and Ba, is on 50/50, and Oscar and Moses 60/40, Cech 100 over Turnbull, Lampard and Ramires 50/50, Chelsea has a more chance of winning.
